Climb Assist

Climb Assist made 3D models of existing crags with routes and problems mapped on top of them accessible via the web (more info). I worked with them to clean up the taxonomy to make finding specific destinations easier and redesign the browsing experience and pages that displayed crags.

Taxonomy

I worked with Climb Assist to create a taxonomy that was flexible enough to house the variations in mapping locations, but kept browsing quick and easy.

Crag Pages

Designs were fully responsive, making it easy to do research at home and view the same pages out in the field.

Modularity

Each page was designed with modular sections, pages could adapt to different contexts and data sets. Modularity also helped with the reuse of components between pages and sections.
